DAY 01:

Arrival at Damascus International Airport, meet & assist, transfer to the hotel, Overnight Damascus.

DAY 02:

Damascus City Tour including: National Museum, Takkiah Sulimanieh (16th cent), Handicraft Bazaar, Umayyad Mosque (built as the Cathedral of John the Baptist on the foundations of the Roman Temple of Jupiter, which was preceded by the Temple of Haddad), Saladin Tomb, Azem Palace (18th cent), Hamadiyeh Bazaar, Straight Street, Saint Ananias Chapel (home of the man who initiated Saul/Paul into Christianity), St. Paulís Window, Eastern Gate (once the Roman "Gate of the Sun"), The Wall of the Old City, Panoramic View, Overnight Damascus.

DAY 03:

Departure from Damascus to Visit Maaloula (where Aramaic, the language of Jesus, is still spoken). Then To Krak Des Chevaliers (the 12th cent Crusader fortress), on to Tartus and to Amrit. Continue to Lattakia, Overnight Lattakia.

DAY 04:

Visit Ugarit (where the world's oldest alphabet was found), Departure to Aleppo. Visit of St. Simeon (where the legendary Stylite monk lived, preached and performed miracles), then visit the Grand Umayyad Mosque & Covered Bazaar, Overnight Aleppo (the city which vies with Damascus for title of the longest continuously occupied city in the world).

DAY 05:

Visit Aleppo Citadel (whose military foundations date back to the 4th cent. B.C., but whose archeological remains prove occupation as far back as the 16th cent B.C.) & Aleppo Museum. Then departure to Palmyra via Ebla (visit), Overnight Palmyra.

DAY 06:

A Visit of the Site of Palmyra (the home of the remarkable 3rd century Queen Zenobia) - In the afternoon back to Damascus, Overnight Damascus.

DAY 07:

Transfer To The Airport For Departure.
